We obtained planning permission and building regulations approval for the complete renovation of an existing 3bed semi-detached cottage in the beautiful 'Newmillerdam' conservation area in Wakefield.
The garage was converted to provide additional useable living and kitchen space at ground floor with associated alterations internally along with changes to the existing driveway and boundary wall treatment. The existing roof was replaced with one which was more energy efficient incorporating additional conservation roof lights between the original king post historic trusses that were retained. The proposals provide a new contemporary internal layout with a stylish open plan kitchen/living space and separate formal living room with 3 well proportioned new bedrooms at first floor. |
