Design proposals were created for the internal refurbishment of a 3000 sq ft commercial unit in China Town to provide a vibrant and health conscious Vietnamese restaurant and bar. Production of visual design report and tender drawing package which seeks to create an aesthetic that is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Vietnamese design.
Authentic colonial tiles, glistening metals, aged mirrors and delicate wallpapers have been contrasted against industrial concrete, textured timber and greenery to provide 110 covers for food and drink. Old bicycles, colourful feathers, traditional fans and fishing baskets formed part of the design inspiration which resulted in both an immersive and functional design. |
